James Taylor Nearly Blows National Anthem [VIDEO]

James Taylor at Game 2 World Series, Youtube

It’s not an easy song to sing, just ask the countless artists who have completely botched the lyrics to our National Anthem!  During game 2 of the World Series, James Taylor nearly ended up on that list, by forgetting what song he was singing!

He got a nice introduction, and he played a little acoustic intro, and then he began to belt out “America The Beautiful,” OOPS!

However, showing that he’s a pro who’s on his toes, he quickly recovers by getting right into the National Anthem.  Watch the video here!

What artist do you remember screwing up the National Anthem, and which artist do you think sang it the best?
