Join The Mutt Shaming Contest At Black Dog Rescue’s Summer Mutt Fair
101.9 KingFM, KGAB 650AM and 106.3 Cowboy Country are proud to partner with Black Dog Rescue’s Annual Summer Mutt Fair, this Saturday, June 14 at Lion’s Park. In addition to vendors, adoptable pups, and games, there will be a Mutt Shaming contest, courtesy of Townsquare Media Cheyenne!
How do you participate? Show up at our booth sometime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday and our Digital Gal will hand you a white board. You’ll nicely shame your pooch with words like, “Mom let me outside; I still peed on her shoes.” Or, “Black heels are the tastiest.” You could even go so far as to say, “I hump house guests,” and “I steal my human brother’s toys.”
We’ll take your dog’s photo and upload it to the contest that Monday for voting. All we’ll need from you is name, phone and email address (we’ll enter you into our database so you can vote!).
The shamed pup with the most votes after two weeks of voting will win a Keep Cool and Dog On basket worth $250 (it includes cooling toys, treats and a $50 gift card to Petco!), courtesy of our stations:
We’ll also have a bucket of treats available at our booth if your dog is an angel and you have nothing to shame him/her for (really??? NOTHING?).
Hope to see you there!
To enter our Mutt Shaming contest, you must bring a pooch to the Mutt Fair on Saturday, June 14 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. We must have your name, phone number and email address in order to participate.
Our staff will load the photos to the contest page that will be shared on our Facebook sites on Monday, June 16. Voting will run June 16 through June 30. The winner will be notified in the afternoon on June 30. Good luck!
