Laramie County's newest Circuit Court Judge Tom Lee was officially sworn in Monday in front of family, friends and colleagues during a robing ceremony at the Wyoming Supreme Court.

Lee was one of three finalists for the position and was selected to fill the vacancy by Governor Matt Mead in June. Lee replaced Judge Catherine Rogers who was appointed to the District Court.

Lee is a graduate of the University of Wyoming law school. He has worked in private practice as well as a prosecutor in Laramie County. He has also served as a Circuit Court Magistrate in Laramie County.

Lee said he is "excited about this opportunity and look forward to serving the people of Laramie County."
