Junior Leadership of Laramie County is seeking high school students who will be juniors in the 2013/2014 school year to apply for next year's program.Since 2000, hundreds of students have participated in the seven-month junior leadership program. Through six fast-paced days designed to be educational and fun, the program gives participants opportunities to learn more about the county, community resources, leadership skills and civic trusteeship.

Junior Leadership of Laramie County is open to students attending high school in Laramie County who will be juniors in the 2013/2014 school year, including home schooled students and emerging leaders who wish to increase their leadership skills.

The courses include the following: team building and ropes course in September; tour of museums on cultural day in October; career day in November; legal day in January; legislature day in February; military day in March and graduation. Students are also required to perform 24 hours of community service in order to graduate from this program.
