The latest big ticket winner for the Wyoming Lottery comes from Kaycee, Wyoming. Shirley Caro bought her winning ticket on Sunday, May 22nd at the Sinclair station in Kaycee, in advance of the Cowboy Draw drawing on the 23rd. Shirley plays the lottery twice a week and always plays Quick Pick tickets.

Shirley is currently battling cancer and has said, above all else, this money will be taking away the tremendous financial burden she has been facing due to recent medical bills.

Until now her largest win has been $20 on the game. She is also a supporter of Mega Millions and Powerball. The total amount of the jackpot was $406,928. After the 25% federal taxes were taken out, Shirley walked away with $305,196.

Congratulations to the Caro family.
