Cheyenne Mayor Rick Kaysen says the city is currently taking input on possible changes to the city Unified Development Code.

The mayor says a recent open house, attended by roughly 40 people, was designed to both inform people about the code and get input on where changes in the code might be made. He says at least one more such meeting will likely be held.

The new code officially took effect on April 30, and Kaysen says one provision is that it come up for yearly review and consideration of possible changes. Kaysen says the city council will probably look at proposed changes to the code in February or March of next year.
