Are your kids wishing they could go Christmas shopping?

Sometimes children feel left out when it comes to buying gifts during the holiday season. This Saturday, December 10, the Cheyenne Parks and Recreation Department makes it possible for youngsters to shop where it's safe and affordable.

The "Holiday Gift Shop" program will be set up at the Cheyenne Parks and Recreation Activity Center, on the corner of Carey Avenue and Pershing Boulevard, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.

"The Holiday Gift Shop-Where Wishes Come True" makes it possible for children to choose their own special gifts for family and friends.

There will be a large variety of gifts in different price ranges to choose from. A "money control" form is provided at the door for parents to fill out with their child to help them decide who they should buy a gift for and how much they should spend.

Volunteers and students ambassadors will be there to supervise.

Students will also be having a baked goods sale  and a 50/50 raffle. Tickets for the raffle are one dollar or 6 for five dollars and you do not need to be present to win.
