What are you doing for entertainment over the Thanksgiving Day holiday? There's lots of acts to catch playing around our area during these last days of November.

Attention Grass Stains! BeatGrass plays a free show at The Midtown Tavern, also known as Anderson's Other Corner at 1303 East Pershing Boulevard, starting at 8 p.m. on Friday, November 29. The local bluegrass band is made up of Jeff Daugherty on mandolin, Shawn Hess playing the upright bass, Pete Mergard on banjo and Josh Reese on guitar.Wednesday, November 27, Colorado musicians will perform the music of The Band at the Ogden Theatre in Denver for The Last Waltz Revisited. The event, which begins at 8:30 p.m., is also a food drive to benefit the Denver Rescue Mission.

The Paramount Cafe, 1607 Capitol Avenue, hosts an Open Mic Night from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, November 29, in downtown Cheyenne. Sign up begins at 6:30 p.m. and any type of family-friendly act is welcome including music, comedy and poetry.

Folk artist Melanie Devaney performs at the Paramount Cafe on Saturday, November 30, at 7 p.m. and there's no cover charge.

Kenny Wootoons takes the stage at The Drunken Skunk, 1617 Capitol Avenue, at 9 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, in downtown Cheyenne and there's no cover charge.

Enjoy Elvis Through the Years at the Union Colony Civic Center in Greeley this Saturday, November 30, starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets range from $16 to $45 and are available at the Monfort Concert Hall website, http://ucstars.com.

Flosstradamus will be at the Ogden Theatre in Denver on Saturday, November 30. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25.75.
