Our temperatures may be cold right now, but the concert season is heating up.

Among the shows you can catch this week, Gooding, the Los Angeles based band out of Wichita, Kansas, returns to The Midtown Tavern for a free show on Saturday, April 13, starting at 8 p.m. We'll be talking with Gooding on Friday, April 12, after 4 p.m. from Boulder where he is on the panel for the Conference on World Affairs.Also playing this week, the punk band, Bad Religion, hits The Fillmore Auditorium in Denver on Wednesday, April 10, at 7:30 p.m. with opening acts Against Me! and Polar Bear Club. Tickets are $25.

Queensryche brings their Operation MindCrime tour to the Paramount Theatre in Denver on Thursday, April 11, beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $29.50.

On Friday, April 12, in Cheyenne Bandjaxed play at the American Legion Post 6 at 2001 East Lincolnway from 7 to 10 p.m. for $8.

The Gothic Theatre in Denver presents Soul Asylum on Saturday, April 13, at 9 p.m. Tickets to see the Minneapolis band are $25.75.
