Which bands are you planning on seeing this week?

There are lots of musical choices in the area this week, including the Kansas-band, now based in Los Angeles, Gooding playing at the Lion's Lair, 2022 East Colfax, in Denver on Tuesday, June 11, with Jane Thatcher and Floating Action opening. The cost is $7 and it starts at 9 p.m.In downtown Cheyenne on Wednesday, June 12, August Burns Red play the Atlas Theatre, 211 West Lincolnway. Tickets are $16 in advance and $20 at the door and are available at Ernie November.

Ross Lindstrom out of Laramie will entertain at The Midtown Tavern, otherwise known as Anderson's Other Corner at 1303 East Pershing Blvd, on Friday, June 14, at 8 p.m. There's no cover charge and we hope to talk with Ross before the show at the KING FM studio downtown.

Fridays on the Plaza present the Heart cover band, Dreamboat Annie from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Depot Plaza on June 14. Beer, food and drinks are available for purchase at this free show.

Ty Warner and the Change Agents are at the American Legion Post 6, 2001 East Lincolnway, on Friday, June 14 starting at 7 p.m. with no cover charge.

Steel March rock The Drunken Skunk, 1617 Capitol Avenue, on Friday, June 14, beginning at 9 p.m., also a free show in downtown Cheyenne.

Fitz and the Tantrums are at the Gothic Theatre in Denver on Friday, June 14, starting at 8 p.m. for $25.

Singer, songwriter Justin Townes Earle will play on Saturday, June 15, at the Mishawaka Amphitheatre in the Poudre Canyon near Bellvue, Colorado at 8 p.m. Tickets are $30.50 at the door and shuttle parking has additional costs.
