Are you going to any of the shows in Cheyenne this week?

There is a wide variety of live entertainment to catch in the Capitol City this first full week of November.

If you're looking for some jazz, there's a free show downtown on Thursday, November 8. The Laramie County Community College Jazz Ensemble is presenting Dave Pietro in Fallin' for Jazz at the Cheyenne Civic Center. Pietro is a saxophonist, composer and jazz studies professor at New York University. The show begins at 7 p.m.

On Friday, November 9, at the Cheyenne Civic Center celebrate Veteran's Day with a 1940's musical revue, In the Mood, starting at 7:30 p.m.

In downtown Cheyenne on Friday, see Howard Skaggs at Sanford's Pub and Grub, 115 East 17th Street, from 7 until 10 p.m. Around the corner at The Drunken Skunk, 1617 Capitol Avenue, you can catch Rat Salad beginning at 9 p.m. (sounds tasty)

At the Midtown Tavern, (formerly Anderson's Other Corner) at 1303 East Pershing, the Change Agents will play on Friday, November 9, at 8 p.m.
