Celebrate the beginning of Spring with some live entertainment this week. Beat Grass play Friday, March 22, at The Midtown Tavern, 1303 East Pershing Blvd, also known as Anderson's Other Corner starting at 8 p.m. and there's no cover charge. We're hoping to have Beat Grass stop by the KING studio on Friday.

In Fort Collins on Thursday night it's a Tribute to Jerry Garcia with the Mighty High Band at Hodi's Half Note getting underway at 8. All tickets are $5.

The Animal Collective show scheduled for Friday, March 22, at the Ogden Theatre in Denver has been postponed due to illness of one of the band members.

In downtown Cheyenne on Friday, March 22, hear Howard Skaggs from 7 until 10 p.m at Sanford's Pub and Grub, 115 East 17th Street, and there's no cover.

Fridays in the Hynds presents Grant Sabin from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. for $5, those 15 and under get in free with an adult at the Hynds Building, 1602 Capitol Avenue.

Check out live music at the Paramount Cafe, 1607 Capitol Avenue, on Friday Josh Gonzales plays reggae and alternative music starting at 7 p.m. and Saturday it's singer, songswriter Elijah beginning at 7 p.m.

Donavon Frankenreiter plays at the Bluebird Theater in Denver at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 22, tickets are $18 to $20.

Billy Brag will be at the Gothic Theatre on Saturday, March 23, at 9 p.m., tickets are $22 in advance and $25 on the day of the show.
