KING Concert Calendar Includes Mickey Hart Drumming at Fox Theatre in Boulder

Are you in the mood for some live entertainment? There are plenty of choices all around our area this week.

One of the Grateful Dead drummers brings his tour to Boulder on Wednesday. The Mickey Hart Band play at the Fox Theatre on February 27.In Cheyenne on Friday, March 1, George Ball returns to The Midtown Tavern. The local guitarist plays for free starting at 8 p.m. at the former Anderson's Other Corner at 1303 East Pershing Boulevard. We're hoping George is able to stop by the KING studios some time Friday to talk music and maybe play us another song.

Fridays in the Hynds presents Beatgrass from 5:30 until 8:30 p.m. on March 1. The cost is only $5 and those 15 and under get in free with an adult at the Hynds Building on the corner of Capitol Avenue and Lincolnway downtown.

At the Ogden Theatre in Denver, GRIZ will perform Friday, March 1, beginning at 9 p.m. Doors open at 8 p.m.

On Saturday, March 2, Bobby Phillipps entertains at the Paramount Cafe, 1607 Capitol Avenue, starting at 7 p.m.

PANTyRAiD will be at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver on Saturday, March 2. The show starts at 8 p.m. and the doors open at 7:30.

Treat yourself to some live music this week, the musicians sure will appreciate it.
