Looking for a good dose of live music on this last weekend of 2013?

The String Cheese Incident play several nights at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado beginning Saturday, December 28, at 7 p.m. Opening the show will be Bootsy Collins and The Funk Unity Band with the Tiny Universe Horns featuring Karl Denson and Chris Littlefield.Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue jam at the Ogden Theatre on Thursday, December 26, and Friday, December 27, starting at 9 p.m. Doors open at 8 p.m. Analog Son will open on Thursday and The Congress on Friday night.

In Cheyenne, Bad Rabbit, formerly Killer Rabbit, entertain at The Midtown Tavern on Friday, December 27. The free show by the local band begins at 8 p.m. at the venue also known as Anderson's Other Corner at 1303 East Pershing Boulevard.

The Paramount Cafe, 1607 Capitol Avenue, hosts their weekly Open Mic Night from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, December 27. Sign up starting at 6:30 p.m. and show off your talent whether it's music, comedy, poetry or any other type of family-friendly performance.

The Fillmore Auditorium in Denver has Umphrey's McGee on Saturday, December 28, Sunday, December 29 and Tuesday, December 31.
