KING Debuts Mick Jagger and Superheavy Single ‘Miracle Worker’
Have you heard of the new supergroup called Superheavy? I'll bet you'll know some of it's members.
On Your Sunday Brunch, we played the new single from Superheavy "Miracle Worker."
Superheavy came together earlier this year, it features Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones, soul singer Joss Stone, Damian Marley (Bob Marley's youngest son), award-winner film composer A. R. Rahman from India and Eurythmic's guitarist Dave Stewart.
Ultimate Classic Rock reports that the group has already written about 22 songs and plans to release their debut album in September 2011.
If you missed hearing the new single, "Miracle Worker," on Your Sunday Brunch, link to the review of the song at Ultimate Classic Rock and hear it here.
The track's mostly a reggae rhythm begun by Damian Marley and then gets soulful with Joss Stone's vocals blending with Mick Jagger's. I was wondering if some of the lyrics were a reference to plastic surgery. The upcoming album promises to be an interesting blend of all these intriguing influences.
