In late 2013, Nick Dodgson, owner of Midas of Cheyenne and Steve Cooper of KING-FM, were having a few barley pops at Shadows and a plan to benefit local charities was hatched. Nick would procure and restore a classic car and we would raffle it off.

December 6th, 2014, the project was complete, big money was raised and the winner, Scott Steeves, picked up his prize, a 1966 limited edition High Country Special Ford Mustang

Steeves lived in Cheyenne for 14 years and upon his retirement at F. E. Warren Air Force and then he moved to Colorado Springs last summer. Scott never figured he would win the Mustang when he purchased two of the $25 raffle tickets at Lowes, it was just the right thing to do. He won the car, but the people of Cheyenne won the grand prize with the support of Habitat For Humanity, Needs, Inc and Safe House.

Thank you Nick Dodgson and your crew for all you do for us
