What shows are you planning on seeing this year?

In our area this week there are plenty of live music choices, including the ska band from Huntington Beach, California called Reel Big Fish.

They are playing at 3 different venues in 3 Colorado cities.Reel Big Fish play at the Gothic Theatre in Denver on Thursday, January 10, at 8 p.m., they'll be at the Fox Theatre in Boulder on Friday, January 11, at 9 p.m. and on Saturday, January 12, they are at the Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins beginning at 8 p.m.

Trampled By Turtles and Honeyhoney are in Denver at the Ogden Theatre on Thursday, January 10, at 8 p.m. and Friday, January 11, at 9 p.m.

Rock of Ages, the musical, hits the Lincoln Center, 417 West Magnolia Street, in Fort Collins for a second night on Thursday, January 10, at 7:30 p.m. featuring the music of Def Leppard, Journey, Styx, REO Speedwagon and more.

In Cheyenne on Friday, January 11, see John Paul Hodge play for free from 7 until 10 at Sanford's Pub and Grub, downtown at 115 East 17th Street.

It's an Art and Music Thing (The Sequel) will be at the Gryphon Theatre, 710 Garfield Street, in Laramie on Friday, January 11. Bands performing include Mumbletypeg, Shotgun Shogun, Whiskey Slaps, Seneca Flowers, One Drop Evolution and Sageland Stomp. Tickets are only $5 and the fun starts at 7 p.m.
