Are you a singer, dancer, actor or juggler? The Cheyenne Little Theatre Players might have a part for you.

Auditions for the musical 'Kiss Me, Kate!' will be held at the Mary Godfrey Playhouse, on the corner of Windmill Road and Pershing Boulevard, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, through Thursday, February 27.Those auditioning are asked to prepare a song, preferably from the golden age of musicals, learn a short dance routine and do a cold reading from the script.

'Kiss Me, Kate!' is the musical version of Shakespeare's 'The Taming of The Shrew' and is essentially a play-within-a-play where each cast member's on-stage life is complicated by what's happening off-stage.

The music and lyrics for the show were written by Cole Porter and is based on the book by Bella and Samuel Spewack.

The director, Keith Neville, is also looking for performers with special skills such as juggling, tumbling and gymnastics. Cast member ages range from 15 and up and most of the characters will play dual roles as themselves and as characters in 'The Shrew.'

Performances of 'Kiss Me, Kate!' will be May 2 through 4, May 8 through 11 and May 16 through 18. For more information, you can call the Mary Godfrey Playhouse at 638-6543.
