Cheyenne Police Chief Brian Kozak says there will be a “zero tolerance” policy for underage alcohol consumption at Cheyenne Frontier Days events this year. The chief says any underage alcohol violators will not only be ticketed, but this year will also be immediately evicted from Frontier Park. Kozak says that means even if the violator has concert tickets, they will not be able to use them. Kozak says the department has been working with Frontier Days officials, who are posting signs warning of the new policy in 2012.

Kozak likewise says motorists who illegally park on sidewalks and block off driveways in the vicinity of Frontier Park can expect to have their cars immediately towed at the owners expense. He says once again, as in past years, a special tow yard will be set up for the Frontier Park area. Kozak is also asking motorists leaving Frontier Days events to exercise patience, adding his officers will do everything possible to keep traffic flowing smoothly.
