Kozak:Fewer Meth Cases Recently

Cheyenne Police Chief Brian Kozak says his officers are seeing fewer meth cases these days compared to a few years ago. Kozak says one study he’s seen indicates there are about 300, 000 meth users nationally compared to three years ago, and says local police are seeing quite a bit less of the highly addictive drug as well. Kozak says he thinks one factor in the decline is advertising–often highly graphic–illustrating the dangers of meth and the long-term physical effects the drug has on users.
