Laramie County Clerk Debbye Lathrop says that as of mid-day Tuesday local election turnout was "incredible". Lathrop says that although hard numbers were not immediately available, indications were that election day turnout was running well ahead of normal, even for a presidential election, which generally tends to bring a higher turnout. Polls will remain open across Wyoming until 7pm, and voters in line at that time will still be allowed to cast ballots.

Laramie County races include elections for mayor, three seats on the newly-expanded Laramie County Commission, three seats on the Laramie County School District One Board of Trustees, and several city council and legislative races.
