When it comes to guns and Wyoming, those two names are synonymous. I guess you could say that we cling to our guns. But who has the best gun ranges in the state?

Wyoming loves her guns. On a national level, Wyoming ranks very high in gun ownership. Almost 60% of us own a fire arm or rifle.

According to an article in Newsmax, Wyoming has some really good gun ranges. But what did they rank as the top 5? Here is a list of their top 5 gun ranges in the Cowboy State.

1. Laramie County Shooting Sport Complex - Located right here in Laramie County, we are ranked 'numero uno' in Wyoming. We have in door and out door ranges, archery spots as well as skeet shooting. Plus the staff are friendly and competent. It's no wonder our shooting sport complex ranks #1 in Wyoming.
2. Stuckenhoff Shooting Complex - This fine facility is operated by the Casper Shooting Club. It also boasts of an indoor archery and rifle range.
3. Jackson Hole Shooting Experience - Private instruction, certification classes, fine shooting facility for hand guns and rifles.
4. Rocky Mountain Gun Club - This club is also located in Casper, Wyoming. They also have well-lit nigh shoots, league shooting and other events that are held at this shooting facility. Sounds like a very fun and interactive shooting range.
5. Rawlins Indoor - Outdoor Shooting Range - They host 8 firing lanes, with control units and automatic target retrieval. They also have pistols and rifles for rental or sale.

It's really good to know that we have some fine shooting facilities in the Cowboy State. However, it's even better to know that our shooting range here in Laramie County, is one of the finest.
