Wondering where the party is on Saturday?

The Gryphon Theatre in Laramie will host the Fifth Annual Art & Music Thing from noon until midnight on Saturday, January 16 featuring lots of local artists and entertainers.

The 12-hour art and music festival began five years ago as a launch party for Wiley Combs' publication News from Nowhere. Over the years it has become a winter music festival promoting the art and music scene in Laramie.

The Fifth Annual Art & Music Thing runs from noon until midnight on Saturday, January 16, at the Gryphon Theatre, part of the Laramie Plains Civic Center, 710 E. Garfield. The cost is $5, and proceeds go toward the artists and a non-profit organization each year. This year, the money raised will help out the Whatfest and the Albany County SAFE Project, an organization that raises awareness and educates about rape, sexual violence and stalking.
