With the Class 4A Football regular season coming to a close, all three Cheyenne teams are on the road this evening. East and Central both will be in the playoffs, but tonight's action will determine how they are seeded and who they will play. South, still looking for it's first-ever 4a football win, could actually force a play -in game (involving three teams) if they win and Laramie loses. Here are tonight's games (rankings from Wyopreps.com):

#4 East (6-2) AT #3 Sheridan (6-2)--The winner of this game will be the number three seed in the playoffs, besides going in on a winning note. Sheridan is the defending state 4A champion, one of 14 such football titles they have won in their history. Despite that and the fact the Broncs will be playing at home, I like East in this game. Kickoff 6pm Sheridan.

#5 Central (4-4) at Casper Kelly Walsh (4-4)--Again both teams are playoff bound, but the winner will get the higher seed (#5). I personally think Central is a better team (call me a homer), but you couldn't prove it by their records. Kickoff 7pm at Kelly Walsh.

South (0-8) at Rock Springs (1-7)--South could actually get in a position for a playoff spot if they win this game and Evanston beats Laramie, which wouldn't shock anyone. The scenario then is a little complicated, with South, Rock Springs and Laramie all involved in a game in which each team plays a half at a neutral site (yet to be announced). The winner would then get to play the top seed--either Gillette or Natrona (both unbeaten) on the road in the playoffs. Good luck with that one, but nonetheless a win for South tonight would be a huge milestone. It could happen. Kickoff 7pm Rock Springs.
