Logan Avenue Open House Next Week

An open house for the Logan Avenue Reconstruction Project will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4 at Alta Vista Elementary, 1514 East 16^th Street.

The open house is open to the public and will be hosted by Reiman Corp., the contractor for the project. This open house is being held prior to the restart of construction activities.

Staff from the contractor, the consultant, the City’s Engineers Office and the Board of Public Utilities will be available to answer questions concerning the project including scheduling and sequence of construction.

The reconstruction of Logan Avenue is between Nationway and East Pershing Boulevard. Logan Avenue is being reconstructed with new sanitary sewer, water lines, stormwater drains, sidewalks, curb, gutter and new road surface.

The project is slated to be completed in late November 2015.

The cost of this project is $7.7 million with funding from the Fifth-Penny Sales and Use Tax, and the Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities.
