Look To The Ground To See Our Favorite Home Grown Veggies In Cheyenne
Home-grown veggies right out of the ground or off the vine are an all-time favorite for those of us in Cheyenne. Let's see what some favorite vegetables folks are growing in Cheyenne. Today on the Top 5 at 7:45, I'll highlight my favorite home grown goodies grown right here in Cheyenne.
- Tomatoes - Who can resist a fresh, juicy, red, steak tomato? Simply, my favorite.
- Corn - Sweet or regular, this is the way to go and Cheyenne is the area to grown them.
- Cucumbers - Don't let these guys get too big, or they may begin to seed. Cucumbers fresh from the ground go great in any salad, or with Ranch Dressing.
- Squash - These do really good here. It seems that people are always bringing in bags of them for the taking. I've heard fried with breadcrumbs are the best.
- Cabbage - I could go for a nice, hot bowl of cabbage soup about now.
