Lube Shop Not Accepting Waste Oil

solid waste transfer station
Doug Randall/Townsquare Media

The Cheyenne City Lube Shop at 1500 Snyder will no longer accept waste oil, according to a news release from the city.

The change is being made to prepare for the removal of the existing waste oil tank at the shop. In the interim, waste oil will be accepted on special collection dates at the Solid Waste Transfer Station at 220 N. College Drive.

The next such date will be during the household hazardous waste collection day on August 17th.
