During Luke Bryan's performance at Cheyenne Frontier Days on July 24th rain poured down, bringing the show to a halt.... Or so it would seem.  The rain put a damper on a lot of the electronic equipment on stage, but Luke Bryan decided to wait out the rain with his fans and sang "Cowboy Melody" acoustically.  The crow joined in and tossed their hats on stage, which the band wore in what is one of the most memorable moments from this year's Cheyenne Frontier Days.

Attendance at the Luke Bryan concert was the highest ever for a Wednesday night performance at Cheyenne Frontier Days, with 20,652 tickets sold.  “We continue to bring the top names in country entertainment to our hometown,” said Cheyenne Frontier Days Contract Acts Chairman Larry Kehl.  “Country music superstar Luke Bryan showed why he is the Entertainer of the Year last night. He played an extra-long set for the huge crowd that just couldn't get enough.”  This was Luke Bryan's first appearance at Cheyenne frontier Days.
