Since its inception in 1985, Make-A-Wish Wyoming has granted 579 wishes to children.

On Saturday, November 3rd, Bar Nunn Hangar will be hosting the 16th annual Stories of Light Gala.  This event is to help raise money to grant wishes for these children.  Both children this year are from Laramie, one was granted his wish last year and the other had his wish this summer, both boys are coming to talk about their wish.  Kyle wanted to go to the National Rodeo Finals and 6-year-old Austin wanted to go see Whales, so he and his family traveled to Washington State this summer.

There have been 30 wishes granted so far this year across the state, but there are still 37 wishes pending.  Each wish costs an average of $8,000.
