Man Faces Attempted Murder Charges In Stabbing

A 20 year old Laramie County man is facing two counts of attempted First Degree Murder for allegedly stabbing his parents.

Joshua Campbell was arrested late Wednesday afternoon after Sheriff's Deputies were called to the 2500 block of Falling Loop Road on a report of two people being stabbed.

Sheriff's spokesman Linda Gesell identifies the victims as Dean and Lisa Campbell. Both suffered non-life threatening wounds and were treated and released from Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.

Joshua Campbell had been staying in Fort Collins, Colo., and his parents had picked him up there earlier Wednesday afternoon, prior to the stabbing at their home around 4:30 p.m.

The weapon in the case has been identified as knife with a six inch blade.
