Mark Ronson has recorded three new song with Paul McCartney that are bound for the Beatles legend's next solo album. "It's really good. He writes really good songs," the DJ/producer tells Billboard. "He understands that you're so nervous to be working with Paul McCartney 'cause everyone is ... He gives you a lot of leeway, but then at the end of the day you need to deliver the goods."

"He's done every kind of music," added Ronson, who DJed McCartney's 2011 wedding to Nancy Shevell in London. "He invented the rule book in several different ways. I don't know if [our stuff] is revolutionary, but they're brilliant songs. I just tried to give him a sound he was looking for."

McCartney recently announced plans via his website to issue a follow-up to his last solo album, 'Kisses On the Bottom.' No word yet on when the disc may surface, but perhaps Sir Paul will bust out one of his Ronson joints during his just-announced 2013 world tour.
