On October 6, McDonald's has come out with an "all-day" breakfast, on limited items seen on their breakfast menu. According to the franchise owners, it's not going so well.

One of the problems with the new "all-day" breakfast menu, is that it is causing slow downs in service, chaos in the kitchen and reducing ticket prices. This was according to Mark Kalinowski, who conducted a survey with 29 franchisee's.

Some of the smaller stores find that employees are tripping over each other in an effort to try and serve customers breakfast and their regular lunch and dinner menu's.

Some owners have reported customers walking out because of the long lines and slower service. Plus, restaurant owners are saying that they need extra help, but can't afford it.

The whole idea of the all-day breakfast was to help boost some of the company's slumping stores, which were already in decline when they started the idea.

In spite of the survey taken by Kalinowski, many people really like the fact that they can get an Egg McMuffin anytime, instead of just in the morning.
Also, McDonald's US President Mike Andres has echoed that the all-day breakfast has been a success since its initial launch, earlier this month.
