Medicare Open Enrollment Period Ends Saturday

The Medicare open enrollment period ends on Saturday December 7th. Jeff Hinson, Regional Administrator for the Center for Medicare and Medicaid services, says the enrollment period is an opportunity to enroll in or change one's Medicare prescription drug benefit andor the way a beneficiary receives their Medicare benefits.

Hinson says people with questions can call 1-800-Medicare or in Wyoming call the WSHIP program at 1-800-856-4398. Hinson says most people who fail to pick coverage by the deadline will get locked into their current coverage for another year.
