The garden is in and I hope there will be no more frost or cold!

We spend the weekend, weeding, tilling, planting and getting the little green guys to grow. Special breeds of tomatoes, peppers, squash, watermelon, zucchini and herbs. Most of the small potted vegetables came from the plant vendors at Depot Days in Cheyenne. They are plants that are indigenous to Wyoming and should grow well. I make a killer salsa from the garden and hope this fall to begin to make it.

We found some great basil from the vendors. A lime basil which smells like you just squeezed a lime. Cilantro, which is actually two herbs in one. Cilantro when it begins and as it turns to seed, it becomes Coriander, which is used in Asian cuisine. I will take more pictures shortly.
