Cheyenne Frontier Days brings out some great musical performers every year. Michael Martin Murphey performs FREE at Old Frontier Town in Cheyenne this week.

The Cheyenne Frontier Days General Committee and staff have outdone themselves this year at the Old Frontier Town, which used to be called The Gulch, with the new construction of the Sidewinder Saloon.

Singer and story-teller Michael Martin Murphey will be performing from 3-6 p.m. everyday after the rodeo, with the exception of Thursday and Saturday. His performance will be held at the new Sidewinder Saloon, which is just a facade with a porch, and seats for the audience.

You can relax and hear a real cowboy sing the old songs as he tells the stories behind them. Mr. Murphey is known for hits such as "Wildfire", "Carolina In The Pines", and "Geronimo's Cadillac."

As an extra treat, Mr. Murphey is scheduled to sing our country's National Anthem on the final day of the rodeo, Sunday, July 31, 2016.
