Missing Parrot Shows Up Speaking Spanish

A pet parrot that spoke with a British accent when it disappeared from its home four years ago has been reunited with its owner — and the bird now speaks Spanish.

Nigel the African Grey parrot was missing for four years was found by a Southern California veterinarian, who thought the missing bird was her own, who was missing. the vet tracked Nigel to his owner, who is British and lives in Torrance, CA Nobody knows how Nigel learned Spanish.

Southern California's weather is very palatable to lots of tropical birds if they get away or are released into the wild. I'm thinking Nigel was rollin' with a Spanish family and learned Spanish from picking it up from the family.
