Mom Invents “Lock Out” App That MAKES Teens Call Home

Teenagers are usually so wrapped up in their own little world that they forget to phone mom and dad, but now there's new app that MAKES them call home.

According to mtv.com, this new app is the brain child of a mom in Houston, Texas, by the name of Sharon Standifird, who was so angry that her teenage son wouldn't return her phone calls, that she decided to do something about it, by coming up with this new phone app called "Ignore No More."  This app is designed to LOCK your teen's phone until he actually calls you back!

This app is only available on Android, and both your teen and your phone must have the app installed in order for it to work.  According to Sharon, you just punch in a code into your own phone, and it'll send a signal to keep your teen's phone locked until he enters the code.  Your teen HAS to call you, because YOU'RE the one that has the code to unlock his phone!

This code takes away all texting, gaming and other phone features, however your teen can ALWAYS call 911 in case of any emergency.  But what if you live in a state like Wyoming, where the cell signal isn't always that great?

If you read some of the comments on City-Data.com, you'll see that not all areas of Wyoming are the greatest when it comes to cell signal service, many areas right here in Cheyenne can actually have your service cut out, depending on what service you're using.
