The Wyoming Game and Fish Department reminds hunters and anglers that 2012 conservation stamps and most 2012 hunting and fishing licenses expire on Dec. 31st.
The lone exception is that 2012 elk licenses will be valid in open areas in January due to the fact that a number of elk seasons extend into January. This year, the game and fish will continue to sell 2012 elk licenses through the online system, at all automated agent locations, and at all game and fish offices through Jan. 2013 for hunt areas with open seasons. A 2013 conservation stamp will be required for all licenses beginning Jan. 1, 2013, including those hunting on a 2012 elk license during the extended seasons. Licenses for 2013 are now available online, at all automated license selling agents, and at all game and fish department offices. manually issued paper licenses for 2013 will be available at manual license selling agents beginning December 20th.
