In honor of Motley Crue‘s much anticipated residency in Las Vegas, the Mayor of Sin City, Carolyn Goodman, has declared today, Feb. 3, 2012, as “Motley Crue Day.” See what decades of rock ‘n’ roll debauchery and decadence will get you? Your very own day in the city of debauchery and decadence.

Congrats to the Crue on this high honor. Now, how about a street named after the boys?

The Crue’s Vegas residency — did we mention it’s the first ever embarked upon by a hard rock band? — kicks off tonight at the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The band is slated to perform four shows per week through Feb. 19 amidst a bunch of holidays and major cultural events, ranging from the Super Bowl to Valentine’s Day to President’s Day. Don’t forget Motley Crue Day!

If you can’t trek out to Vegas to take in a Crue show or two, then you can sit back and enjoy the band’s Super Bowl Kia commercial, which premiered yesterday.

If that’s not enough to satisfy your raging Crue urges, needs and desires, then watch the Motley Crue in Sin City Sizzle Reel below.
