Are you an aspiring singer or songwriter?

The Cheyenne chapter of the Nashville Songwriter Association International is holding a free workshop at the Laramie County Library on Tuesday, January 26.

Have you written any songs or poetry? You could receive some help with your lyrics and song writing at a free workshop led by Ty Warner of the Change Agents on Tuesday, January 26, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. in the Sage Room on the second floor of the Laramie County Library.

Ty encourages you to bring your instrument along with a song you'd like to play. Bring two copies of your lyrics sheet or poem so others can sing or play along with you.

Ty Warner has spent some time composing songs in Nashville and performing along with many of Music City's songwriters. Hear some of his tips and stories on getting started as a songwriter. He'll lead you through what it takes to get your songs published and noticed by singers and music producers.

Even if you just like to write poetry, Ty can help you set those word to music to create a song. Who knows, maybe you're the next Bernie Taupin.
