National Beer Stein Hoisting Championship This Weekend in Denver

Beer lovers, rejoice. Oktoberfest is upon us and they'll be celebrating down in Denver this weekend at the 46th Annual Stein Hoisting National Championships.

The event is held in conjunction with the annual Denver Oktoberfest, which is also entering its 46th year. Thousands of spectators will be attendance for the finals on Saturday night, during which male and female contestants will be holding full 1.5 liter steins with their arms extended. The competitors who hoist their steins the longest will be declared the National Champions.
