The National League skunked the American League 8-0 in Tuesday night's  MLB All-Star Game at Kansas City's Kauffman Stadium. It's the third-straight time the National League has won and secured the home-field advantage in the World Series.

The National League got the party started early, with the Brewers' Ryan Braun knocking in the Giants' Melky Cabrera with an RBI double. Shortly after, the Giants' Pablo Sandoval blasted a triple into right field, scoring three runs, with the N.L. adding one more in the first inning for a total of five runs off American League ace Justin Verlander.

The icing on the cake came when Cabrera added a two-run homer in the fourth inning to make it 8-0.

The Giants' also were big on the mound with Matt Cain pitching two scoreless innings.
