Have you always dreamed of flying into space? That could become a reality soon for civilians and you might even be able to win a trip to space on a reality TV show.

TV Producer Mark Burnett, he's responsible for 'The Voice' on NBC and 'Survivor' on CBS, has teamed up with Virgin Galactic's Richard Branson on a game show to be called 'Space Race.'The proposed reality TV show would allow contestants to compete for a ride on Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo to the top of Earth's atmosphere. The space craft is currently being tested in California. Sometime next year, Branson and his children are expected to become the first civilians to take a ride on the rocket-powered space vehicle.

More than 600 customers have made their reservations for SpaceShipTwo flights from Spaceport America in New Mexico, at a current price of $250,000 per seat.

I'm tempted to get signed up as a contestant, are you?
