The "Daddy of em all" continues to be huge and this year was no exception, this year was the seconds or third largest in the history of Cheyenne Frontier Days.

Preliminary estimates show that this month's Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo drew an estimated 250,264 people. Rodeo officials say if the numbers hold up it will be either the second- or third-largest attendance in the rodeo's long history. Nearly 85,400 people attended the rodeo itself while night shows drew some 118,800. Country artist Tim McGraw drew more than 23,300 to his Saturday performance, making it the third-largest crowd in Frontier Nights history.

The final numbers will be released in a few weeks. Look for CFD 2015 to be even bigger and better.
