During his 25 years in the Army, George Hart couldn't find a decent cup of coffee on base. When he retired from active duty, the former pilot started a new mission; to bring a Dunkin' Donuts to every military base in the country.

Yesterday, Hart opened his 11th franchise at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne. Now based in Colorado Springs, he could have stayed at any hotel in town. Instead, Hart holed up for ten days in the bachelor officer quarters on base.

"I run the company like the Army. Before we came here, our managers trained for weeks at Fort Carson in Colorado," he said. "Now, we're heading to Hill Air Force Base in Utah to start the next store."

While he continues to focus on military bases, Hart hopes the franchise at F.E. Warren will help encourage another entrepreneur to open a store for civilians in the area. Cheyenne hasn't had a Dunkin' Donuts since the late 90s. Their former Lincolnway location is now Delectable Donuts.
