Have you ever been to the Old Fashioned Melodrama at the Atlas Theatre in downtown Cheyenne?

The Cheyenne Little Theatre Player's 56th season of melodrama  opened tonight, July 12, and runs through August 5.

This year's Old Fashioned Melodrama is titled 'The Maid of the Mill' or 'Tied But True.'

Shows are at 7 p.m. and run Thursday through Sunday with two performances during Cheyenne Frontier Days on July 20-21 and July 25-28 at 7 and 9 p.m. in the historic Atlas Theatre at 211 West Lincolnway.

Audience participation is encouraged, you can boo the villain, cheer for the hero and sigh for the heroine. Between the acts of the melodrama a variety of Olio Acts are presented including singers, magic acts and Can Can Dancers.

Tickets for the Old Fashioned Melodrama are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, $10 for students and $8 for children.

Popcorn, snacks and beverages, including beer, are available for purchase.
