On This Date In Wyoming History

Wyoming history is very rich and it's nice to highlight some of the great people and events that have come out of the Cowboy State.

On this day, November 11, 1890, the same year Wyoming became a state, Wyoming's first state-elected officials took office.

Also, on this day in the year 1914, Richard Daniels Jr, who was cast as one of the kids in the "Our Gang" series, was born in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Daniels would continue his acting career and was popular with fans, until he suddenly was no longer seen.

He died of alcoholism at the young age of 55.
