Operation Back to School Collecting Supplies for Students in Need

​The start of the new school year is just a month away and Operation Back to School is working to ensure low-income students are prepared when classes start.

​Laramie County School District 1 spokeswoman Cindy Reynders says volunteers are seeking basic school supplies and monetary donations for kindergarten through college-aged students in Laramie County.

​Reynders says school supplies can be dropped off at Needs Inc., Laramie County Community College, the Laramie County Library and F.E. Warren Air Force Base.

Donated supplies will be given out from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Aug. 16-18 at Needs Inc. at 900 Central Avenue. Those in need of supplies should stop by Needs Inc. before Aug. 16 to prequalify.
