Optimism Versus Pessimism in the New Year

We’ve officially been in the New Year for a week, so now that we’re rolling right along in 2014, how’s it going for you so far?  Do you think this year will be better than last?

At least 49% of people surveyed said they’re taking the optimistic approach to the new year, hoping for a better one than the year 2013 brought them.  14% said this year was going to be WORSE than last year, and the rest were unsure of how the year is going to go for them.

What say you?  Are you an optimist, hoping things will be better for you this year, are you a pessimistic type who thinks this new year is going to downright drastic, or are you on the undecided fence, not quite sure what 2014 will bring?
