According to the Wyoming Department of Transportation, bridge engineers have determined that the Parsley Boulevard Bridge over Interstate 80 in Cheyenne is safe to travel.

The bridge should re-open today barring inclement weather. The bridge will have a speed limit of 15 miles per hour with two 10-foot lanes of traffic.

The roadway was closed Feb. 28 due to damage to the girders caused by a truck carrying an over-height load. These were the same girders that were damaged by a truck carrying an over-height excavator last August.

The Parsley Boulevard Bridge will have repairs finished before the start of Cheyenne Frontier Days.
